Homes for Sale in Keswick, Edmonton

Located in Edmonton’s southwest, Keswick is known for its proximity to nature and its upscale residential developments with luxury modern and prairie style homes. It is bounded by Ellerslie Road / Hiller Road to the north, 28 Avenue to the south, 170 Street to the east, and the North Saskatchewan River to the west. 

The creation of Keswick, with natural wetlands, was inspired by the Lake District in England. It features over 21 acres of green space, including three parks, over 8 kilometers of landscaped trails, three wetlands, a natural ravine system, and the North Saskatchewan River as its neighbor. 

Development in Keswick, Edmonton began in 2011 and is still underway. When completed, the housing distribution will be approximately 63 percent semi-detached homes, 30 percent low-, medium-, and high-rise apartments, and 7 percent row housing. Currently, there are a variety of housing choices from move-up models, first-time buyers, to custom-built estate homes.

Keswick, Edmonton Communities 

In Keswick’s northwest corner, perched on the banks of the river valley, is Keswick on River and the gated community of The Banks at Hendriks Pointe. The homes are mostly custom luxury estate homes. To its south is Riverstead at Keswick, also with many luxury style homes features extensive walking and biking trails that connect directly to the North Saskatchewan River valley.  

In the northeast is One at Keswick with ravine trails, naturalized ponds, shared pathways, and Keswick Square – a commercial centre with retail, restaurants and health services. Arbours of Keswick is located in south-central Keswick with a new public school, Joey Moss School, a community playground, walking trails, and Royal Centre, a commercial area. To the west is Keswick Landing with a new school, Joan Carr Catholic Elementary/Junior High School, two constructed wetlands, shared trails and on-demand ETS transit.

Keswick, Edmonton Shopping, Dining & Entertainment 

Next door in Windermere are three commercial hubs with a VIP Cineplex Odeon and many stores, boutiques and services. Nearby restaurants include The Keg, Buco Pizzeria + Vino Bar, the Twin Otter Pub, and the Tesoro Italian Bakery. Residents of Keswick are also minutes away from Southwest Edmonton Farmers’ Market, and the Terwillegar Community Recreation Centre.
