Keswick on the River is surrounded by nature while still very close to many amenities. It is bounded by the North Saskatchewan River to the west, Ellerslie Road to the north, the future 25 Avenue to the south, 170 Street to the east.
Because of the natural wetlands, the creation of Keswick was inspired by the Lake District in England. It features over 21 acres of green space including three parks, over 8 kilometres of landscaped trails, and three wetlands.
Development in Keswick began in 2011 and is still underway. When construction is completed, the housing distribution will be approximately 63 percent semi-detached homes, 30 percent low-, medium-, and high-rise apartments, and 7 percent row housing. Currently there are a variety of housing choices from move-up models, first-time buyers to custom-built estate homes.
Residents are few minutes away from The Currents of Windermere, a large shopping and entertainment hub that provides a VIP Cineplex Odeon and many new stores. It is also a short drive to the Southwest Edmonton Farmers’ Market, Southgate Centre, and the Terwillegar Community Recreation Centre.
Keswick is one of the last developments in Edmonton’s southwest that has access to the River Valley and a ravine system threaded through it. It’s natural setting and old world craftsmanship gives Keswick an ageless charm.
